Minister of Dance Kathryn “Kay” Reed

Kathryn is a youth mentor & community leader who founded I Can Fly Ministries in 2007 with a passion to draw young people to Christ in Radical ways through the arts! Kathryn has been ministering praise and worship dance for 21 years and mime for 14 years which is the avenue by which God uses her gift to open up opportunities to help so many people.
Founder of Radical Praise for Christ (RP4C) Dance & Mime Ministry and SOAR leadership/mentorship program, & author of the book, “Seasons.” Her heart is serving the needs of teenagers in the community uniting them and pouring into their lives through mentorship and making an impact so they will reach beyond boundaries set by the enemy! Kathryn is a graduate of the School of Flag Ministry in North Carolina with a teaching certification and a proud graduate of Dancing for Him Ministries-Liturgical Dance Teacher’s Certification and licensed as a Minister of Dance through Dancing for Him. She is a MS Paneh Mime Ministries International Delegate.
Certifications: Graduate of School of Flag Ministry (2015), Dancing for Him Teacher’s Certification (2016), & Licensed Minister of Dance (2017).

Come in expecting exciting and a fun journey. Each class is unique in that we learn 2 key words or phrases that are implemented in our sessions. You will excel beyond your imagination in many areas of your life with the encouragement of dance development. Your passion will awaken, stir, and thrive in this environment motivating you to leap through life with soaring wings!
The Structure - Welcome, Prayer, Stretch, Key Words, & Teaching.
Most of our arts sessions involve movement. You are asked to dress modest and simple with no spaghetti strap clothing. Liturgical garments are not required, you are free to wear t-shirts (plain colored) and tights (only females) or joggers/modest shorts. Please be respectful of everyone.
Seasons is designed to take a dancer from celebration dance to prophetic and healing activations. The book gives every dancer hope and understanding of the different seasons of a dancer or mime.
I read this book in less than a week because it was an amazing read! Kay's transparency is encouraging and I love how she has one for each season in her book. It really helped me during a trying time and I will be going back through it again and again because I know it will help me through many seasons in my life as I work through all of the thought-provoking prompts to journal about and challenge myself in each season.”
